Proposed pilot · information only

A proposed tool for documenting project changes.

Change Desk is an experimental local browser tool for preparing a written proposal or record for a client-requested change. R3GOLA WORKS is preparing a small pilot for independent web designers or solo studios. The pilot is not yet open for applications.

If activated, participation will be voluntary and unpaid. This is information about proposed research, not a sales offer or an invitation to enrol. Practical usefulness and commercial demand remain unproven.

Who is the proposed pilot intended for?

  • You are an independent web designer or solo studio.
  • You handled a client-requested scope change on a paid fixed-fee website project within the last 90 days.
  • You can spend about 20 minutes on a desktop or laptop with Edge or Chrome.

We use fictional project details. Please do not send client names, contracts, files or confidential work.

Pilot not yet open

This page is for information only. No participants are being enrolled through it. Please wait for an announced opening before sending pilot applications or client details.

For a general business question, you can contact R3GOLA WORKS at the address below. General enquiries are not treated as consent to participate or as marketing subscriptions.

If your device has no email application configured, copy the address into your usual email service. Do not send client records or other confidential information.

What would a session involve?

  1. Confirm eligibility and choose whether to participate.
  2. Try a fictional project change using Change Desk and compare it with your usual method.
  3. Discuss what is clear, confusing or unnecessary. “I would not use it” is useful feedback.
  4. Optionally agree to one follow-up about seven days later. There is no obligation to reuse the tool or buy anything.

The candidate runs locally without an account. It does not decide contract scope, authenticate a client's approval, send messages, calculate tax or process payment. Browser drafts and exported backups may be unencrypted; use fictional information only.

If pilot activation is approved, the experimental candidate will be supplied individually after eligibility, participant information and consent are confirmed. No application download or participant enrolment is available on this page.

Planned participant information and working records

The arrangements below describe the proposed controlled pilot if it opens. They do not activate recruitment or enrolment.

You can skip questions, decline follow-up or stop the session. No audio or video recording is planned. We will not publish your name or attribute comments to you.

What we keep

Your reply address and scheduling correspondence stay in the official R3GOLA WORKS Outlook mailbox. Task observations use a participant ID and are kept separately in restricted local research storage. Access is limited to the owner, the authorised assistant's execution account and privileged system/administrator accounts. No other standard local user is granted access to that research folder.

When working records are removed

Study close is the date of the final completed session, or the recorded cancellation date if testing is stopped. We remove controlled contact and scheduling working records 14 calendar days after study close, and ID-linked research observations 30 calendar days after study close. Removal is handled manually and checked. Email recovery, provider backups and copies held by other people can have separate retention; we cannot promise immediate erasure of those copies.

Unsuccessful or withdrawn enquiries are removed from our active working records within 14 calendar days of the final reply or withdrawal. Enquiries are not added to a marketing list. Consent to receive one optional follow-up is a separate choice.

Withdrawal or questions

Email r3golaworks@outlook.com and quote your participant ID if assigned. We will stop further research contact and handle removal of the working records we control, explaining any limits. After the ID link is removed, we may be unable to identify your contribution in aggregate findings.

This study does not provide legal, financial or professional advice. Before the session, we will ask whether you understand the information and agree to participate.
